Basically all I've done is deleted all my stuff on geocities as they are shutting down at the end of this year.
I also got rid of my writer's link page since for one it was useless and I am not a fan of bravenet's service anyhow.
So my site has considerably shrunk. I am working on a new writers group page which I hope to tweak out.
Also maybe just revamp the whole boringness of my site, I have no idea. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This was the story I was working on for last year's NanoWrimo contest. I've uploaded the first 2 chapters so far.
The story is still not complete and I will hopefully aim to complete it soon. In the meantime enjoy the start of it anyway. Hehe.

I'm also planning on updating my website and getting rid of the writers and artists directory. Since there's zero interest in it, I'll just get rid of it altogether. So that'll be some major cleaning up.
Enjoy my crazy inane story and let me know what you think!
I have changed the format of my Rant Show to now fully feature the Writer House.
Check it out in My Gallery section of my site. www.freewebs.com/casualwriter
Future episodes to be announced. Stay tuned.

I know I've been neglecting ALOT of stuff, like the AL show for one since I've been so caught up with Nano and work. Plus getting sick on top of that. Hopefully I can get back on track next week.
For those that took part and would like an outlet to publish your stories, please check out the Writers and Artists Directory on my website. You can submit your story to the directory with a rating and everything! Or any story really.
Hopefully I'll be able to finish my story (no its not done, far from it) and get the insanity into working order.
Congrats to all those other Nanowrimo winners out there! And hey even if you didn't get to 50K, at least you tried and got the experience that is Nano Wrimo! There's always next year too or doing your own crazy version of Nano whenever you want. :)

Not sure if I want to create another one, seeing as how there was hardly any interest in it anyway.

I did a test run of it today and was surprised by the turnout. I seriously thought the most I would get would be 1 or 2 people tops who would listen. Imagine my surprise when it came to a whopping 7! Woot! Hey it's way better than I could've hoped for! Plus I experienced my first ever live caller that actually called into my show!
Granted he called in just to welcome me to live.com, but hey, he was nice and helped me out!

Check it out! Hear my actual horrid voice! I have yet to decide when my next broadcast will be. I'll probably schedule it sometime during the evening and have an official topic to rant about. Please suggest anything you'd like me to rant about as a topic. I'll be more professional and actually do research! Lol. Or at least have some background info on the subject so I don't come off as a complete idiot. Lol.
I'm also promoting the Animated Lust Rated PG! Show. Check it out on my show profile. It's listed as one of my friends. And if any AL people out there could suggest a time slot, that'd be great!
For all info directly related to the directory including FAQ, Rules, Awards to Writer/Aritst of the Month or Year will be posted here:
http://360.yahoo.com/casualwriter7744
Any major updates will still be posted here.
I've updated my site by just doing some cleaning up. I've moved all my personal stuff, like blogs, harem and published works into a new page called My Personal Gallery. There you can find all my personal stuff.
The rest is left on the main site. Please if you are interested in submitting your written stories or art or even video. Just have a link please that goes directly to it. Than please check out my site!
Rules about submissions to my site are listed below. The new thing will be that people can also submit videos of artistic works. If you want to show off a film you made than please feel free to submit a link.
Videos will follow the same rating/guideline system as below. Thanks.
http://www.geocities.com/pikachu7744

Submissions: When submitting, please rate your work in brackets after your title. ie: My Tale (PG)

Approval:
Your link will be approved within at least a week. Depending on number of submissions it could be earlier or later. Confirmation is when you actually see your link posted. All guidelines mentioned above must be met before approval can be granted.
Deleted/Unapproved Links:
Links that become broken, unavailable or do not meet the above mentioned guidelines will be deleted. Please make sure if you update your site and change any links to update your link. You can do this by posting in the Casual Writer House forum (http://cwriter.boardsxp.com) and informing me of the change.
*Note: These rules are subject to change at any time. Announcements will be made regarding any changes.
Unlike my earlier attempt, I will NOT be uploading people's works onto my site. That idea I realized was too much trouble and I did not have enough space to do it. Instead the directory will be in linked form only and will go directly to the person's work. Not advertise their site.
What I'd also like to do is a feature spotlight in the directory highlighting a writer/artist of the month. Something where they can show off their bio and all their works together.
It'll also include nominations for mini awards leading to a spotlight of the year.
I know I'm aiming high and am being quite a dreamer about this. But we'll see how this pans out. Right now I only have some rough ideas and I'm currently scrounging for web resources on how to do this.
I want to be able to spiff up the Casual Writer website and make it more meaningful.
Please reply and suggest any ideas or comments on this. What can I add to make this better?
Or other things that I can do to attract people to come?
More details to come later as I sort this out.
